The inspection items in operation include rolling sound, vibration,temperature and lubrication state of the bearing. The specific conditions areas follows:
1 rolling sound of bearing
The size and sound quality of the rolling sound of the runningbearing are checked by the acoustic meter. Even if the bearing is slightlydamaged such as peeling, abnormal sound and irregular sound will be produced,and can be distinguished by the acoustic meter.
2 vibration of bearing
Bearing vibration is very sensitive to the damage of bearing, suchas peeling, indentation, rust, crack and wear, etc. can be reflected in thevibration measurement of bearing. Therefore, the size of vibration can bemeasured by using a special bearing vibration measuring device (frequencyanalyzer, etc.), and the specific case of abnormality can be inferred from thefrequency. The measured values are different due to the operating conditions ofthe bearing or the mounting position of the sensor, so it is necessary toanalyze and compare the measured values of each machine before determining thejudgment criteria.
3 temperature of bearing
The temperature of the bearing can be inferred from the temperatureof the bearing outside, which is more suitable if the temperature of thebearing outer ring can be measured directly by the oil hole. Generally, thetemperature of the bearing rises slowly as the operation begins and reaches asteady state after 1-2 hours. The normal temperature of the bearing varies withthe machine's heat capacity, heat dissipation, speed and load. If thelubrication and installation department is appropriate, the bearing temperaturewill rise sharply and there will be abnormal high temperature. At this time,the operation must be stopped and necessary precautions should be taken. Theworking temperature of the bearing can be monitored at any time by using theheat sensor, and the automatic alarm or stop to prevent the occurrence of shaftaccidents when the temperature exceeds the specified value.
