thrust ball bearing drawing

51308 Thrust ball bearing consists of three parts, a shaft and housing washer that have annular grooves in them and a caged ball bearing assembly that is sandwiched in between them. Assembly and mounting are simple operations as the parts are separate. They support axial loads in one direction. Clearance is provided in the bore of one of the raceways to allow for alignment.

Features of thrust ball bearing:

- - Single direction thrust ball bearings: consist of two washers with raceways, balls guided, and cage. Washers have flat seating surfaces, and that is why they must be supported so that all balls can be evenly loaded. Bearings carry the axial load only in one direction. They are not able to carry radial forces.
